Kaposi's sarcoma,

(Moritz Kaposi, 18371902, Austrian dermatologist), a malignant vascular multicentric tumour often seen in immunocompromised patients (see acquired immunodeficiency syndrome AIDS ). In this condition, cutaneous nodules may develop and lead to invasion of underlying bone. Some patients also have malignant lymphoma, lymphatic leukaemia, diabetes mellitus and varicosities.
